The RTC is the backbone agency for transportation in Southern Nevada, combining planning, transit operations, and traffic management under one umbrella. It ensures mobility, sustainability, and accessible transit options for both residents and visitors in the Las Vegas valley. Braintrust was the agency of record for the RTC for many years and during that time executed seasonal campaigns, new route launches, public relations, and growth of all social channels.
Summer Heat Campaign
Every summer, the Las Vegas Valley faces extreme heat that puts public transit riders at serious risk. To address this, the RTC and Braintrust launch the annual “Beat the Heat” campaign. A critical public safety initiative reminding riders to stay hydrated, seek shade, and limit time in the sun while waiting for transit. Through engaging tactics like broadcast spots, pop-ups, and digital messaging, Braintrust delivers this lifesaving guidance in fresh, attention-grabbing ways each year—reinforcing a simple truth: staying cool can save lives.
Ride RTC
To boost awareness and adoption of the rideRTC app, we developed a bold, eye-catching campaign that celebrated both the ease of the app and the energy of Las Vegas. Using playful illustrations of iconic Vegas sights paired with the headline “We take you where Vegas takes you,” the campaign positioned the RTC as your passport to the city. A bold slab serif and vibrant color palette brought the message to life across billboards, bus wraps, digital ads, and more—showcasing the app as an essential tool for navigating Southern Nevada.
Ride The Strip
To promote RTC’s service along the Strip and Downtown, we created a campaign built around the message “Fun starts at every stop.” From interior bus signage to shuttle wraps and digital media, the campaign encouraged visitors and locals to explore more of Vegas with the RTC.
