A Signature Wine Experiences
Cast Wines is a boutique, sustainably minded winery nestled in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. Their philosophy emphasizes connections, creativity, and stewardship, with handcrafted wines that feel familiar yet surprising and a tasting experience set against panoramic vineyard views.
Braintrust worked with Cast Wines to improve their collection of assets with a custom photoshoot, followed by a state-of-the-art brochure website that features a dynamic Content Management System, special event module, and e-comm capabilities with custom filters, and Instagram integration.
Photoshoot
Braintrust travelled to Sonoma County to organize and coordinate a photoshoot with the Cast Wines team. Between tasting rooms, facility tours, and vineyard strolls, the team was able to create a much needed catalog of assets for the website and beyond.
Website Development
A Modern Design
The design blends contemporary aesthetics with a refined sense of place. Clean typography, generous white space, and a minimalist layout highlight the beauty of the vineyard without distraction. High-resolution imagery takes center stage, creating an immersive, editorial feel that draws visitors into the landscape, the wines, and the story. Subtle animations and intuitive navigation lend a polished, modern user experience while honoring the brand’s artisanal roots. It’s a digital expression of the vineyard: elevated, approachable, and thoughtfully crafted.
E-Commerce Functionality
Cast Wine offers wine delivery services so needed an integrated e-commerce platform to offer their wines around the country. The design delivers a modern, intuitive shopping experience that puts the wine front and center. The clean grid layout and generous spacing create a sense of sophistication and clarity, making it easy for users to browse and compare offerings at a glance. Each bottle is presented with striking imagery and clear, legible text that emphasizes key details like varietal, vintage, and price.
Filters and navigation are unobtrusively placed for effortless exploration, while the overall design maintains a calm, premium feel. Whether customers are seasoned collectors or casual sippers, the streamlined interface ensures a smooth path from browsing to checkout—no friction, just fine wine.
