Located on the grounds of the former Downtown Courthouse, Downtown Las Vegas Events Center has provided the rejuvenated Downtown Las Vegas area with another exciting attraction for locals and visitors, alike. Anchored by a 2,500 capacity venue for live entertainment, the versatile space is perfect for concerts and festivals but also excels at intimate VIP parties, or special event viewing parties.
Braintrust had the opportunity to work with DLVEC to launch their creative brand and lay the foundation for continued success with numerous creative campaigns and branding projects. Starting with a full brand development project, we were able to help this unique venue and become a force in the event space. Some of the exciting things we were able to create included advertising materials, on-property signage, their new website, and new brands for internal initiatives.

As a brand-new venue in a historic entertainment destination, our goal was to develop a brand identity that could rise above and be noticed. From the positioning to the logo to the collateral, we sought to propel the brand into the Las Vegas landscape. The brand we developed spoke to the neon and glamour of Vegas, with a callback to the old town feel of the surrounding area. This look was achieved with the logo and positioning carried over to the advertising collateral, business cards, social media strategy, and property signage.
It is always fun to see your work in action and larger than life, which is what we were able to accomplish with designing signage and building wraps for the DLVEC property. From the signage throughout the property to the skinned box office, we helped shape an immersive and omnipresent brand for the new venue.
Translating the brand look, we worked with DLVEC to develop a sleek, new, responsive website. With event listings and large image galleries, their team was able to share photos of their amazing events while selling tickets, with the help of Ticketmaster integration, for their next one. WordPress was the Content Management System of choice, so updating event listings and photo galleries were effortless.
One of the fun parts of working with a rad new venue was the ability to be involved as fun new events were planned and executed. Las Rageous was one such example that allowed our brains some creative freedoms. Similar to the full brand development, we were able to create the design concept and logo for this yearly two-day metal music festival. This design concept was carried over onto the branded Las Rageous website as well as concert posters, ad material, and even merchandise.
Downtown Watch Zone
To help make DLVEC a local favorite, we worked with their team to develop a branded event called Downtown Watch Zone. The watch zone is where fans could go to root on their favorite team on a 72-foot screen. We were able to design a logo and look that stands on its own and appeals to the rabid local sports fanbase, while still fitting within the overarching DLVEC brand.
Just a block from the Fremont Street Experience, DLVEC is the go-to spot for concerts and events in Downtown Las Vegas. With a full capacity of 11000, some of the largest bands and DJs in the world have called the DLVEC home for a night. For locals and visiting sports fans, the Downtown Watch Zone at DLVEC is a must experience free attraction with their 72-foot screen for game days.
